Phase 01

setting the course

4 services

A few questions have to be settled before a shop gets built — otherwise retrofitting gets expensive later.

01 b2b or b2c +

The difference lies in the audience and in everything that follows from it. B2C addresses broad audiences, B2B a smaller, specialised set of customers.

The pricing model differs too: in B2C revenue comes from volume at lower prices, in B2B from higher prices with fewer customers.

And buying behaviour is different — B2C decisions are often spontaneous, while B2B usually means longer processes with several people involved. That shapes the structure, the tone and the feature set of the shop.

02 online shops +

Your own shop widens the customer base and builds recognition at the same time — provided the look stays consistent.

Before we build, we settle three things: what the actual requirements and processes are, what budget is available, and which shop system fits that.

That order matters. Starting with the choice of system means deciding on requirements nobody has written down yet.

03 choosing the shop system +

Shopify is easy to use and scales from small shops to large ones. It connects well to existing websites and leaves room for design of your own.

WooCommerce is the obvious answer when the shop should run inside a WordPress site. Extendable through plugins and suitable for brands of any size.

Which system is right depends on the requirements — not on whatever is most widely recommended at the moment.

04 e-commerce strategy +

A workable strategy ties three things together: the right payment system, a direction that suits the business, and the marketing that goes with it.

That includes connecting to existing inventory systems, so stock and orders do not have to be maintained twice.

Phase 02

function

5 services

What the shop has to do to turn visitors into buyers.

01 product configurator +

Customers put their product together the way they want it. That makes the decision easier, because they see the result before they buy.

Integration into open shop systems allows flexible solutions cut precisely to your requirements.

02 multistore solutions +

Anyone running several shops is better off managing them centrally. That saves time and money and still allows a tone tuned to each market.

For international expansion, product copy can run in several languages and currencies and tax rates adjust automatically — which suits the way we work in DE, EN and ES.

03 subscription & membership models +

Subscriptions create recurring income and tie customers in more closely. Monthly or yearly models give access to products, services or exclusive content.

It works particularly well for digital products, software, online courses or limited collections. Loyalty programmes and personalised offers strengthen the effect.

04 payment methods & checkout +

The choice of payment methods has a direct effect on the decision to buy. Card, PayPal, instant bank transfer and digital wallets should all be covered.

A lean checkout — one-click purchase, instalments or a subscription link — cuts drop-offs at exactly the point where they cost the most.

05 ai & personalisation +

Product recommendations based on behaviour raise the chance that people find something that suits them. Chatbots cover simple service questions around the clock.

On dynamic pricing: It is technically possible, but we advise restraint. Personalised prices feel unfair as soon as customers notice them — and they do notice. The short-term gain rarely justifies the loss of trust.

Phase 03

reach

4 services

The best shop is no use if nobody finds it.

01 seo for shops +

Visibility in search comes from technical cleanliness, good content and a keyword structure that has been thought through.

An SEO strategy set up for the long term raises organic reach and reduces dependence on paid advertising — which counts for a lot when ad budgets fluctuate.

02 marketplace strategies +

Many retailers sell through Amazon, eBay or Etsy alongside their own shop. Success there rests on optimised product listings, competitive prices and fulfilment that works.

Targeted measures such as sponsored listings raise visibility. The trade-off matters: marketplaces bring reach, but the customer relationship belongs to the platform.

03 meta sales funnel +

A well-built funnel takes people step by step towards the purchase — from the ad on the social network through the landing page to retargeting.

That cuts abandoned purchases and shows where people drop out.

04 customer support & crm +

Good service decides whether people come back. Live chat, helpdesk and self-service portals cover different needs.

CRM systems bring customer data together, make communication traceable and allow a fitting approach instead of one round email to everyone.

Phase 04

operation

4 services

A shop is an ongoing commitment — technically and legally.

01 performance optimisation +

Load speed has a direct effect on completion rates. Image compression, caching, clean code and content delivery networks are the usual levers.

A fast shop also improves its position in search results along the way.

02 data protection & security +

Selling to consumers means handling payment and address data — which makes data protection a core requirement, not a formality.

That means a privacy policy people can understand, secure payment routes and protection for sensitive customer data.

Note: We implement what is required, technically and organisationally. Online shops carry additional obligations — right of withdrawal, price information, terms and conditions. The binding review belongs in the hands of a lawyer.

03 accessibility +

An accessible shop lets people with impairments shop without friction too: clear navigation, alternative text, keyboard operation, screen reader support.

That widens the audience you can reach. Since June 2025 many online shops also fall under binding legal requirements from the European Accessibility Act — whether and to what extent they apply to you is something we clarify in the project.

04 maintenance & updates +

Security updates, bug fixes and new functions keep the shop stable and reduce the risk of attacks.

For shops this weighs more heavily than for a plain website: downtime here means lost revenue straight away.

project in mind?

Whether it's a single mark or a complete identity — it starts with the question of what the brand should stand for.
