Information on the processing of personal data under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR. We collect only what is genuinely necessary.
Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy tells you which data we collect when you visit this website, what we use it for and what rights you have.
As a rule: we only collect the data that is actually necessary to run the website and answer your enquiries. We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising purposes.
The controller for the data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:
The controller is the natural or legal person who, alone or jointly with others, decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data.
If you contact us by email, telephone or through the contact form, the details you provide, including the contact details you give, are stored by us in order to handle the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
The processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, where your enquiry relates to the performance of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases the processing rests on our legitimate interest in dealing effectively with enquiries addressed to us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We store this data until you ask us to delete it, withdraw your consent or the purpose for storing it no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods — in particular under commercial and tax law — remain unaffected.
This site embeds the typefaces DM Sans and JetBrains Mono via Google Fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the fonts it needs in order to display text correctly. In doing so, a connection to Google servers is established and your IP address is transmitted.
This use rests on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — we have a legitimate interest in the consistent presentation of the typography. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
This website is hosted by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the host's servers. This may include IP addresses, contact enquiries, meta and communication data as well as access data.

The host is used for the purpose of performing our contracts with prospective and existing clients (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and in the interest of providing our online offering securely, quickly and efficiently (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have a data processing agreement with the host under Article 28 GDPR.
Your data is passed on to third parties only where this is necessary to perform a contract, where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have expressly consented.
Where data is transferred to countries outside the European Union, this happens only on the basis of appropriate safeguards within the meaning of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR — in particular standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission or an adequacy decision.
As a data subject you have the following rights:
An informal message to info@daffndill.de.
Without prejudice to any other legal remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can tell that a connection is encrypted by the browser address bar changing from “http://” to “https://” and by the padlock symbol in the browser bar.
When SSL/TLS encryption is active, the data you send us cannot be read by third parties. We point out, however, that data transmission over the internet — for example when communicating by email — can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements, or to reflect changes in our services — for instance when new services are introduced.
The version in force at the time then applies to your next visit. It is therefore worth calling up this page again from time to time.
Want to know which data we hold about you — or have it deleted? An informal email is enough.
